  • Obtained defense verdict on behalf of cleaning company in claims for contractual defense and indemnification by property owner.

  • Obtained defense jury verdict on behalf of Department of Corrections officer in civil rights matter involving excessive force and failure to intervene claims.

  • Obtained dismissal at jury trial for client defendants at close of plaintiffs' case in wrongful death/child abuse suit.

  • Obtained defense jury verdict on behalf of fitness club in personal injury suit stemming from an accidental chlorine gas release at club’s pool facility.

  • Secured bench verdict on behalf of county improvement authority against a challenge by an unsuccessful bidder in awarding a $150 million waste disposal contract.

  • In a matter of first impression under New Jersey’s amended statute of limitations for sexual abuse claims, clarified state law’s application to federal civil rights claims, leading to dispositive resolution on motion to dismiss.

  • Obtained favorable outcome for glass manufacturer in warranty claims on defective glass units.

  • Secured favorable outcome in product liability case involving insurer’s subrogation claim where the client’s product was alleged to have spontaneously combusted.

  • Obtained favorable resolution of product liability action involving insurer’s subrogation claim where the client’s product allegedly caused a house fire due to defective design.

  • Secured summary judgment for client engineering firm under the affidavit of merit statute.

  • Secured summary judgment for municipality in wrongful death claim under Workers Compensation Act, affirmed on appeal.

  • Secured summary judgment for county prosecutor’s office and investigators in federal civil rights matter; affirmed on appeal to the Third Circuit.

  • Obtained summary judgment for public authority in fatal motor vehicle accident under dangerous condition and plan and design immunities.

  • Secured summary judgment for city and police officers in civil rights action for false arrest and malicious prosecution claims.

  • Secured summary judgment in employment action, dismissing state and federal constitutional claims on behalf of public authority.

  • Secured summary judgment in employment action, dismissing retaliation, wrongful death, and civil rights claims, affirmed by Third Circuit.

  • Secured summary judgment for police department and officers on wrongful death claims surrounding a fatal shooting.

  • Successfully granted summary judgment motions on statutory and procedural due process claims in various civil rights and discrimination matters.

  • Obtained summary judgment in general liability cases based on failure to prove proximate cause.

  • Collected over $24 million on a $25 million judgment from debtors through domestic and foreign execution.

  • Successfully tried $18 million transfer claim, resulting in the judgment debtor’s order to return funds moved overseas.

  • Mediated complex dispute over ownership interests and valuation of multiple closely held real estate businesses.
