JASON ATTWOOD

Jason Attwood is a founding member of Attwood Corlett LLC with over 20 years of experience representing public entities and private clients in civil litigation. He has a broad range of experience in insurance defense, public entity law, and appellate advocacy, with multiple victories in the New Jersey Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

With over two decades of litigation experience, Jason Attwood has built a strong reputation in handling insurance defense and coverage matters, including product liability, professional liability, environmental, dram shop and premises liability matters.  His experience representing public entity clients includes the defense of employment disputes, civil rights and contract claims.

Jason also has a proven track record of securing favorable rulings in significant appellate cases, including issues related to the New Jersey Tort Claims Act and public bidding disputes. His appellate experience includes multiple high-profile cases in the New Jersey Supreme Court, making him a trusted advocate for public entities.

 

Before co-founding Attwood Corlett LLC, Jason was a partner at a mid-sized, regional law firm, where he successfully handled a wide variety of public and private sector cases, and previously also a partner at a mid-sized, New Jersey law firm.
