Erik Corlett is a founding member of Attwood Corlett LLC with over 15 years of experience handling complex litigation matters pertaining to commercial and corporate law, trusts and estates law, and defense of insureds, public entities and employees. Before co-founding Attwood Corlett LLC, Erik was a partner at a regional mid-sized law firm where he represented both public and private clients in high-stakes litigation and appeals. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Erik has extensive experience in the trial courts and on appeal as defense counsel for an array of public entities, including state transportation entities, municipalities, boards of education, county prosecutor’s offices, and county improvement and utility authorities in contract disputes, regulatory enforcement, civil rights, personal injury, and property damage matters. He also has extensive experience representing individuals and corporate clients at both the trial and appellate levels in complex corporate and trust and estate matters, multi-jurisdictional matters, and post-judgment collection and enforcement matters.
